On June 5th, 2023,<\/strong> As the first day of school after the summer break, all students from Nursery to Class 12 enthusiastically entered the school premises with their school bags. They were welcomed with red tilak marks on their hands.<\/p>\n

The School Principal, Mrs. Vaishali Lade, along with coordinators Tushar Devare, Vaibhav Sonavane, Devendra Ramole, and Vaishali Patil, performed the traditional Saraswati puja, invoking the blessings of the goddess of knowledge. The program was conducted by teacher Neetu Panjabi. All students were present on the first day, and the teachers welcomed them with a dance performance. Tushar Suryawanshi highlighted the holistic development of students, including physical, intellectual, and emotional growth, through various activities, games, and competitions, which help enhance their talents.<\/p>\n

June 5th is celebrated as World Environment Day globally to raise awareness about environmental conservation. This year, the theme is “Solutions to Plastic Pollution,” led by the United Nations Environmental Program. Every year, more than 430 million tons of plastic are produced worldwide, with only a small percentage being designed for single-use purposes. Around 19 to 23 million tons of plastic end up in lakes, rivers, and oceans annually, causing pollution and harm to human health and biodiversity. Hence, the message emphasized the importance of planting and nurturing trees everywhere. Smrita Nerkar addressed the students, urging them to take care of the environment.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, teachers and students also participated in a tree plantation drive within the school premises. Class teachers welcomed their respective students in their classrooms. School Principal Vaishali Lade advised students to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in their surroundings, emphasizing the significance of each student planting a tree in their home environment. The program was guided by the school’s founder, Mr. Prashant Bhimrao Patil. The coordination of the event was done by Devendra Ramole and Vaishali Patil. The program also included beautiful rangoli artwork and handwriting competitions. All teachers and staff members were present for the program.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
