Pimpri:\u00a0The Pimpri-Chinchwad city BJP has started vigorous preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.\u00a0The city BJP has geared up to reach every citizen of the city with the work done by both the central and state governments before the elections.\u00a0Accordingly,\u00a0the “Ghar Chalo Abhiyan” will be launched in the city,\u00a0and a convention of 528 booth workers from the three mandals of the Chinchwad assembly constituency was held in Rahatani on Thursday to train and guide the booth workers about the campaign.<\/strong><\/p>\n

BJP city president Shankar Jagtap,\u00a0in his address at the convention,\u00a0called upon the booth workers to vigorously spread the message of the welfare schemes and development works undertaken by the central and state governments for the benefit of the citizens.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The convention was held in two sessions at the Vimal Garden Banquet Hall in Rahatani.\u00a0BJP city president Shankar Jagtap,\u00a0convener of Ghar Chalo Abhiyan Vilas Madgeri,\u00a0Chinchwad assembly convener Sidheshwar Barane,\u00a0general secretary Namdev Dhake,\u00a0Sangvi-Rahatani mandal president Sandeep Nakhate,\u00a0Wakad-Thergaon mandal president Prasad Kaspate,\u00a0Rawet-Kalewadi Somnath Bhonde,\u00a0and assembly chief Kalu Ram Barane were present along with 528 booth workers.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,\u00a0the BJP government at the center has made tremendous progress in all sectors of the country in the ten years from 2014 to 2024.\u00a0The Modi government has done a great job in the areas of poverty alleviation,\u00a0women empowerment,\u00a0internal and external security,\u00a0and has also raised the country’s name at the international level.\u00a0Similarly,\u00a0the BJP-ruled states in the country have also made great progress in their respective states.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As the BJP prepares for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections,\u00a0it is ready to tell the story of this development to the grassroots.\u00a0The BJP intends to win the trust of the people in the Lok Sabha elections.\u00a0For this,\u00a0the BJP has decided to launch the “Gaon Chalo Abhiyan” in rural areas.\u00a0The campaign will run from February 4 to 11.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Accordingly,\u00a0a convention of 528 booth workers from the three mandals of the Chinchwad assembly constituency was held to provide information about the objectives of the “Ghar Chalo Abhiyan”.\u00a0The booth workers were trained on how to conduct the campaign,\u00a0what work to do,\u00a0and how to inform the citizens about the central and state government schemes.\u00a0In the two-session convention,\u00a0the booth workers were asked to go door-to-door and interact with the citizens.\u00a0They were also asked to visit the homes of the citizens who have benefited from the central and state government schemes.\u00a0The booth workers were also guided on how to organize various programs to create awareness among the citizens.\u00a0City president Shankar Jagtap appealed to the booth workers to vigorously launch the campaign in the Chinchwad assembly constituency from next Sunday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the convention,\u00a0BJP’s super warrior Umesh Gaikwad was felicitated on his election as the president of Tata Motors Employees Union.\u00a0The convention was proposed by Vilas Madgeri and the vote of thanks was proposed by Sandeep Nakhate.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
