Despite its spread everywhere in the city, the water in suburbs like Wakad has raised serious questions.\u00a0 Therefore, the citizens of the elite society of the area have protested against the ruling BJP and the municipal administration by bringing in the issue of &#8216;NO WATER NO VOTE&#8217; in the area. The plaque was installed by the citizens of Society, next to Hinjewadi Road, Wakad ward no 25.\u00a0 &#8220;We pay taxes to the municipality. But we do not get water,&#8221; it says on the board. External tankers have to take water. We have to spend it. Therefore, we all residents have taken a moving post that says &#8216;no water but no vote&#8217;. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Councilor Mayur Kalate said that while Pimpri Chinchwad was\ndoing all-round development of the Municipal Corporation through NCP, we were\nsuccessful in it. But in the previous municipal elections, the current ruling\nparty was subjected to riot and seized power. Why has this problem of citizens\nnot been resolved even today when the BJP is in power in the center and in the\nstate? So this is your good day? That&#8217;s why Smart City.? The water supply in\nthe dam is abundant but why don&#8217;t the citizens have water? We are in opposition and\nare fighting for the cause of the people. From time to time, we have been\nconducting agitations to ensure that the city has abundant water supply.
