- Prachiti International school celebrated World Postal Day & letter writing competition
Sakri : In 2024 participants will be encouraged to reflect on the future of the world under the theme: “At 150 years old, has served people around the world for more than eight generations. The world has changed enormously since then. Write a letter to future generations about the world you hope they inherit.”
Nowadays in digital India the writing of letters has totally disappeared .Everyone wants to use the different devices for communication.In ancient ages people were used to communicate with the help post card letter . Whenever the postman rang Bell of their cycle then everyone comes out from their houses in curiosity and either any relatives haves ent a letter to them.
Prachiti International school celebrated Post card letter writing competition on the platform of back remembrance days to the students .It gives the realisation to the students about waiting and curiosity about someone sending a letter to us . Not only celebration on the platform of school but also School allowed Post office officers Mr.Bharat Chaudhari and his colleague Shri.Bandu Kolekar felicited them by offering bouquet,coconut and shawls.
By understanding the above theme School’s Chairman Hon.Shri.Prashant Patil Sir organised such a mesmerizing competition .It’s implemented by School principal by Mrs.Vaishali Lade mam .From Nursery Shiv Sonawane disguised himself as postman and distributed post cards in classes .Being creating the environment of post Man arrival and getting letters from him gives enormous happiness to all .From non teaching Prashant Sasle Bhausaheb attired himself as post man given round on cycle and distributed letters to students and teachers .A really beautiful celebration of World Postal Day .Along with celebrated competition has also been organised in school specially Principal Lade mam and Vice Principal Shri. Ghanshyam Sonawane observed and selected best letters from 3 rd to 8 th std classes .
Such a wonderful experience taken by school ‘s teaching staff and management .
