Celebration of birth anniversary of Rajmata jijau and Swami Vivekanand at Prachiti International School
Sakri:- -Saturday January 11, 2025, a program was organized at Prachiti International School on the occasion of Rajmata Jijau and Swami Vivekananda Jayanti. In this program, the president of the educational institution Mr. Prashant Patil Sir, Principal- Mrs. Vaishali Lade Madam, Vice Principal-Mr. Ghanshyam Sonawane Sir, School Coordinator Shri Vaibhav Sonawane Sir and Shri.Tushar Deore Sir worshiped The idols of Rajmata Jijau, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Swami Vivekananda . .By offering flowers to the images of Maharaj and Swami Vivekananda, the images were worshipped. The program started after the welcome of the chief guests. In this program, the teacher of the school Tejaswini Gharte madam while guiding the students about Rajmata Jijau said that Rajmata Jijau was born on January 12, 1598 in Sindkhedaraja village of Buldhana district of Maharashtra state. His father Lakhuji Jadhav was the king of a village called Shindkhed. At that time he named Jijabai as ‘Jijau’.was kept It is said that Jijabai lived very little with her father. And they were married at a young age.
It is said that Jijabai’s marriage was fixed when she was six years old. She was married to Shahaji Raje Bhosale son of Maloji Raje Bhosale. Jijabai had 6 daughters and 2 sons. One of them was Shivaji Maharaj. Jijabai gave birth to Shivaraya at Shivneri fort. Jijabai was very intelligent and took many decisions for the Maratha empire.
Hence Swarajya was established. Seeing the oppression of women in the state, when Jijabai goes to the temple of Mata Bhavani. Then the mother is called to suggest some solution to remove this plight of women. Hearing that, she tells Jijabai that her son’s torture on her will stop. Such a mother gives them a boon. This is why Shivaji Maharaj always worshiped Bhavani Mata. Always worshiped mother while worshiping the education received. It is written in history that Shivaji Maharaj had such a sword. Her name was Bhavani. Mother was blessed with Bhavani mata.Jijabai Mata told Shivaji Maharaj for the Maratha Empire the stories of Lord Shri Ram, Shri Krishna, Arjuna from the Ramayana-Mahabharata through which he understood his religion and his karma. And also knew how to protect people. Madam guided the students like this. And Kanchan Ahirrao madam while guiding the students about Swami Vivekananda said that Swami Vivekananda was born on January 12 ,1863 in Calcutta, West Bengal. Swami Vivekananda was an Indian ascetic and philosopher. Ramakrishna Paramhansa was his Guru. Gained knowledge from them. He also played a major role in introducing the Indian philosophies of Vedanta and Yoga to the Western world. Vivekananda is credited with promoting interfaith awareness, bringing Hinduism to the status of a major world religion in the late 19th century. He was prominent in the Hindu reform movement in India. He contributed to the introduction of nationalism in British India.Vivekananda established Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission. When Swami Vivekananda introduced Hinduism at the World Council of Religions in Chicago, USA in 1893, he became famous for his speech which began with the words “My brothers and sisters”.
Swami Vivekananda was one of the most influential philosophers and social reformers of his contemporary India. and was the most successful missionary of Vedanta in the Western world. Contemporary Hindu Reforms
He was also a major force in the movement. And he contributed to the concept of nationalists in colonial India. He is now widely recognized as one of the most influential figures and patriotic saints of modern India. His birthday is celebrated as “National Youth Day” in India.
