Sakri: Prachinti International School organized a religious program of pooja and pathan on the occasion of Shri Ganesh Jayanti. Ganesh Jayanti falls on the Chaturthi tithi of the Shukla Paksha in the Magh month. This day marks the birth of Lord Ganesha. It is also known as Tilkundi Chaturthi. It is believed that on this day, the principle of Ganesha is a thousand times more active than usual. Prashant Patil, the president of the institution, gave this information to the students.
On the occasion of Ganesh Jayanti, the poojan of Shri Ganesha was performed by Jacky Sadana and Neeta Sadana with the chanting of mantras by Purushottam from Malpur. Tilgul laddus were offered as naivedya to Shri Ganesha. The school founders Prashant Bhimrao Patil and the drivers’ class arranged for mahaprasad and bhojan for the students from nursery to class 12. The students enjoyed the mahaprasad and bhojan.
Vaishali Lade, Principal of the school, Tushar Devre, Manager, Vaibhav Sonavane, students, teachers and other staff, and drivers were present for the program.
The program was coordinated by Vaishali Patil, Jayesh Bagle, and Akanksha Teli. Bhupendra Salunkhe and Vaishnavi Thorat did the beautiful decoration for the program. Savita Lade, Deepmala Ma’am, and Jagruti Ma’am drew beautiful rangolis. The program received cooperation from the teachers, other staff, and drivers.
