Celebration of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti at Prachiti International School
Sakri : Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti are celebrated on 2 nd October 2024 Wednesday. Every year to commemorate the birth of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation and former Prime minister Lal Bahadur Shastri. The day is a national holiday in India and is celebrated to showcase the life and teachings of Mahatma Gandhi, a remarkable leader who struggled to free India from the British Empire. His truth and non-violence to achieve his goal.Gandhi Jayanti is a day to remember Gandhi’s legacy of peace, non-violence, and social justice. On this remarkable occasion in the beginning of the program’s Chief guest Chairman Hon. Shri. Prashant Patil Sir, Principal Mrs.Vaishali Lade, Vice Principal Shri Ghanshyam Sonawane, and both co ordinators Shri.Vaibhav Sonawane and Shri.Tushar Deore has done the worshipped of potrait of Lal Bahadur Shastri, Mahatma Gandhi and Goddess Sarswati.On their permission program has started with sarswati Vandana.Tr. Gitanjali Kakuste talked about Mahatma Gandhi’s teachings have inspired people all over the world. His peaceful struggle for India’s freedom showed the world that it is possible to achieve change with a peaceful fight, even when faced with a powerful and oppressive regime.Along with teacher students of 7 th std Siddhi Jain and Vedika Titare expressed their views on the Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. School’s Vice Principal Shri.Ghanshyam Sonawane talked on the great life of Lal Bahadur Shastri his green revolution,his famous slogan Jai jawan Jai Kisan .he concluded his speech by saying that
Gandhi Jayanti is also a day to consider how we can apply Gandhi’s ideas to our own lives. We can all take inspiration from his example and work to bring about positive change in our communities. His life is a source of inspiration for all young students around the world. That is why Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated with such exuberance in schools and other educational institutes. Mahatma Gandhi or more lovingly known as Bapu by all Indians is internationally acknowledged for his doctrine of non-violence that led to India to its glorious freedom. Anchoring of the program has been done by 7 th std students Krutika Nere and Tanishka Jain .In their anchoring both girls students added that
2 October every year is celebrated as Gandhi Jayanti the story of his life has impacted humanity to its core. To revere this day, the Students and Teachers of HIS, held a Special Assembly to commemorate the Mahatma’s life and teachings on 01 st October 2024. The Student led choir sung Gandhi’s favourite bhajan ‘Vaishnav Janto’ with full exuberance.special speech with Gandhian quotes and messages brought the gathering to understand more about this iconic leader. Gandhian ideals were depicted through a skit which the students presented in the most eloquent manner. On the special day Prachiti International School has organised a Story telling competition with the participation of 1 st to 10 th std students.Judging of the competition has been done by Vice principal Shri Ghanshyam Sonawane and Tr.Kunal Panpatil .
All our Students were imbued with Gandhian values and thoughts and vowed to become berths citizens of India and this World.
